Name/Nickname: AnnetheCatDetective (Anne generally works just fine) Location: Central CA Age: A gentleman never asks, a lady never tells. (late twenties, but for some reason that line just sticks with me and I almost always answer with it) Pronouns: Generally She/Her/Hers, sometimes They/Their/Theirs, but when I had a non-gendered username back in the lj days I was unoffended by He/Him/His. (I'm fairly fluid but I'm more neutral than male and I like my given name enough to just default to female) (sorry, didn't mean to write an essay there wow) Tumblr/Twitter/Blog:http://annethecatdetective.tumblr.com/ How are you participating in this challenge: Author!
Do you have any pets?: I have a fluffy twenty pound purr-and-kiss-happy cat named Mohinder (Momo for short). I also live with my brother's cat Lego, an angry little black cat who cuddles you when HE feels like it, darn it, and get off his lawn, you birds you! Main fandoms: Team Fortress 2, Welcome to Night Vale, Sherlock Holmes (the books, but I've enjoyed many adaptations) and Star Trek (several gens). Favorite disabled character: Absolutely counting Sherlock Holmes as on the autism spectrum, something I felt keenly before I had the words for it-- started on the canon when I was, what, four? Way before I had a diagnosis, but I understood that we had Things In Common. PETE WHITE AND BILLY QUIZBOY, oh man. Toph. President Bartlett and Joey Lucas from The West Wing (I wish there had been more of her and I am glad she was never reduced to Josh's love interest despite the chemistry). Hawkeye with his depression and eventual PTSD... (I used to be very big into MASH, was once one of my main main fandoms), Tony Stark...(sorry again, apparently I could keep going all day, and this is just with characters that have at the very LEAST had essays written about their supposed disability, but mostly these are textual. Ask me about characters I personally view as autistic if you want me to never shut up again.) Recommend something:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoKN74u01Dw I really love Lachiusa's Wild Party and I think everyone who can should listen to the cast recording with Mandy and Eartha Kitt.
